Hazardous Materials Endorsement Training

Welcome to the HazMat Training Course!

Course Introduction:

This online training course is designed to prepare you for obtaining your Hazardous Materials (H) Endorsement.

Key Objectives:

1. Become certified to transport hazardous materials safely and compliantly.
2. Complete the training to be registered in the Training Provider Registry (TPR).
3. Pass the HazMat written knowledge test required by your state’s DMV (MVD, BMV, SOS, DSC, DOS).

How to Begin:

1. Watch the training video on the next slide.
   • It is recommended to view it multiple times to fully understand the material.
2. After completing the lesson:
   • Click “Mark as Complete” and proceed to the next lesson.

Next Steps:

• After completing the training, you’ll take the HazMat Endorsement final exam.
• Completing the entire training program is mandatory before taking the exam.

HazMat Training Course Guidelines

Course Instructions:

1. Study the material thoroughly and consider reviewing it multiple times.
2. A PDF version of the training presentation is available, along with additional resources for further review.

Final Exam Preparation:

• Following the training, you will take a final exam.
• A score of at least 80% is required to pass and receive certification.

HazMat Endorsement Final Exam

Certification Requirements:

1. Pass the final exam with a score of 80% or higher.
2. By taking the exam, you certify that:
   • You have completed the entire HazMat online training.
   • You have participated in the DOT HazMat ELDT Theory Training.

Post-Exam Process:

1. Results will be entered into the Training Provider Registry (TPR) within one business day.
2. You will receive an email with your certificate of completion.

Next Steps After Certification:

1. Visit your state’s DMV (MVD, BMV, SOS, DSC, DOS) to take the HazMat written knowledge test.
2. Upon passing the state exam, you’ll officially receive your HazMat (H) Endorsement.
